Behind every chair I’ve ever stood behind is a story — a story built over 27 years of relentless pursuit, discipline, and devotion. My journey began at sixteen, apprenticing under the guidance of my mother, the root of our five-generation family legacy. She ignited in me the fire to chase mastery, and from that spark, I built a career that would span continents, stages, and generations. I left home early to train in London at Toni&Guy, under the mentorship of Guiseppe (Toni) Mascolo and his brother Gaetano (Guy) Mascolo. Toni, to this day my guiding icon, taught me that hairstyling is as much about vision and courage as it is about technique. On that stage, I worked alongside emerging talent like Sasha Mascolo — now a powerhouse as CEO of Label M — and absorbed lessons that would shape my craft forever. Four years of London’s rigorous training prepared me for the world, and I returned to South Africa to help build the first Toni&Guy there under Marco Someli, carrying the torch of skill and innovation. But my ambitions didn’t stop there. I sought to master cutting at the highest level, training with one of Vidal Sassoon’s top educators I stood on the international stage competing as a junior stylist, humbled and inspired by meeting Vidal Sassoon himself. Beyond competition, I thrived backstage — production stylist, wardrobe manager, personal stylist for acts — bringing my expertise to Broadway productions, Holiday on Ice, Cirque du Soleil, the Moscow Circus, and countless other international stages. I worked with elite models, graced Milan, UK, and South African fashion weeks, and carried the responsibility of making hair not just seen but remembered. I expanded my craft further in Paul Mitchell L.A., completing six months of intensive Colour Masters training, guided by Paul Mitchell himself. Every technique, every lesson, every late-night stage setup, every brushstroke of color was another brick in the palace I am building — a palace of knowledge, skill, and uncompromising excellence. Awards and recognition followed naturally — five-time national finalist, International Hairstylist of the Year — but these are markers, not the goal. The true measure is the legacy I leave in every client, every stylist I mentor, every transformation that passes through my chair. I am also a qualified Dermatologist and Trichologist, because mastery is never just what you see — it is the science and understanding behind the beauty. This portfolio is more than a record of achievement. It is a testament to discipline, vision, and relentless pursuit of perfection. It is the story of a third-generation stylist carrying forward a legacy and building something that will outlast any one lifetime.
